CHEER COACH – PART-TIME (1 evening per week)

ACTIVSTARS is seeking an enthusiastic Cheer Coach who is excited to work with young athletes and bring their cheer experience back into action.

Ideal Candidate:

• Has previous cheerleading and/or coaching experience
• Enjoys working with children ages 4–15
• Is positive, energetic, and can serve as a strong role model
• Is at least 18 years old
• Has reliable transportation

Position Details:

• Part-time, one consistent evening per week (for example: every Tuesday evening)
• Coach three age groups (teams) in cheer basics, cheer dance, and pom routines
• Participate in three to four paid weekend events per semester (dates provided in advance)

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing lesson plans and running weekly practices
• Teaching skills safely and effectively
• Choreographing routines and performance cheers
• Introducing basic stunting fundamentals
• Managing attendance and simple records

Training Provided:
Paid training covers teaching guidelines, practice structure, and shadowing a veteran coach to learn class flow and expectations.
